If you want to use the Kyushu Fukko-Wari (九州ふっこう割, Kyushu recovery travel discount) on a weekend or in December, which properties have eligible plans, and where does each prefecture’s program stand right now? We asked HotelME, a hotel search app available in ChatGPT, to “find stays where the Kyushu Fukko-Wari can be used on weekends and in December,” and on November 7, 2026 we published 23 articles based on those results and on the official pages of each prefecture and property. This page is an index of those 23 articles, organized by question, date, area, type of stay, and individual property. HotelME is a service provided by MetroEngines Inc., the operator of HotelBank. The content reflects HotelME search results and the official pages of each prefecture and property as of November 6–7, 2026, and does not guarantee availability or that the discount will apply.
The articles were published across the six consumer travel media we operate (HotelPicks, Wabistay, Yadolist, Tabilog, Kazokustay, and Innippon); the linked articles on those sites are in Japanese. Eligible dates and rates vary by property and by date, so they are not listed here; please see each article. - — A HotelME search on the night of November 6, 2026 found eligible plans at 90 properties across 6 prefectures: Fukuoka, Saga, Kumamoto, Oita, Miyazaki, and Kagoshima (searched for check-in from November 7 to December 25, 2 adults, 1 room, 1 night). Kumamoto had the most, with 32 properties.
- — The discount rate is 50% (60% in Kumamoto and Kagoshima). Per the Japan Tourism Agency’s wording, the cap is ¥20,000 per person per trip (accommodation only), not per night.
- — In most prefectures, eligible stays run through December 25. Fukuoka’s period ends on December 15, while direct bookings with properties in Kagoshima are eligible through February 28, 2027 (excluding December 26 to January 3).
- — In a notice dated November 6, Miyazaki announced that direct bookings at “properties that have completed budget adjustments and are ready to accept guests” will resume from 10:00 on Monday, November 9 (Miyazaki Prefecture’s official campaign website). Check the details of the resumption on each property’s official website or by phone.
- — In many prefectures, the discount ends when each property’s allocated budget runs out. Kumamoto’s property list marked 282 of 949 properties as “sold out,” and Kagoshima’s marked 121 of 687 (both updated November 6). When we checked on the morning of November 7, some properties that had eligible plans the day before no longer showed them on their official booking pages.

What to Check Before Booking
- The discount applies mainly to eligible plans on the property’s official booking site (plans whose names include the prefecture’s campaign name or similar). You select the stay date, number of guests, and plan yourself on the official booking page. How phone bookings are handled varies by property.
- Eligible plans appear and disappear from day to day. At some properties, a plan that was eligible one day was shown as “not eligible” the next morning. Check the property’s official booking page and the prefecture’s property list right before booking.
- In prefectures where the property applies the discount at check-in, you will be asked to fill out an application form and verify your identity. In Miyazaki and Nagasaki, you obtain a coupon on STAYNAVI after booking (the property may handle the registration for you in some cases).
- If you cancel, the discount is lost and the cancellation fee is calculated on the pre-discount price (per each prefecture’s guidance). Stays for business trips or business purposes are excluded in every prefecture.
- HotelME searches count adults only. If travelling with children, check children’s rates and the maximum number of guests per room on the property’s official booking page or with the property directly.
