We asked HotelME, a hotel search app that runs inside ChatGPT, to “find weekday stays where the Kyushu Fukko-Wari discount can be used,” changing the prefecture and area each time, and wrote one article for each property it surfaced. This piece lists, by prefecture, the 42 articles covering 41 properties that we published on October 30, 2026. HotelME is a service of MetroEngines, Inc., the company that operates HotelBank. Whether a property offers an eligible plan is based on HotelME search results and each property’s official booking page as of October 30, 2026; it is not a guarantee of availability or that the discount will apply.

The articles were split between HotelBank and the six consumer travel media we operate (HotelPicks, Wabistay, Yadolist, Tabilog, Kazokustay and Innippon). Eligible dates, rates and the way the discount is claimed differ by property and prefecture, so this page shows only what each property is like and where it is featured; the details are in the individual articles.

Key Takeaways
  • — 41 properties across six prefectures: Fukuoka, Saga, Kumamoto, Oita, Miyazaki and Kagoshima. Kumamoto has the most with 13, followed by Miyazaki with 9, Kagoshima with 7, and Fukuoka, Saga and Oita with 4 each.
  • — A wide range of property types: hot-spring inns, private-rental cottages, villas on an uninhabited island and on remote islands, and city hotels within walking distance of a station.
  • — Each article sorts out, property by property, co-sleeping and child-rate conditions for families, and bath information for travelers who prioritize hot springs or large communal baths.
  • — At most properties you choose the eligible plan on the official booking page. How the discount is claimed (issuing a coupon on STAYNAVI, entering a coupon code, signing a form at check-in, etc.) differs by prefecture and property.
  • — Article content is as of October 30, 2026. Sales can end without notice once a prefecture’s budget or a property’s allocation runs out, so check the latest status on the official booking page before you book.

How to Read This List

HotelME checks, for each stay date, whether a plan eligible for Kyushu Fukko-Wari (officially the Kyushu Fukko Oen-Wari, 九州ふっこう応援割) is on sale on a property’s official booking site. This time we searched mainly for Sunday-to-Thursday check-ins (excluding nights before public holidays) as weekdays, opened the official booking page of each property found, and confirmed that an eligible plan was actually on sale before writing it up. Each article includes screenshots of the official booking page and photos from the property’s official website.

Follow the “Featured in” links in the tables for each property’s eligible dates, sample rates, how to claim the discount and booking steps. Apart from the HotelBank articles, the linked articles are in Japanese. None of the 42 articles covers a property in Nagasaki Prefecture.

What to Check Before You Book

  • Discount rates and caps are set by each prefecture. Confirm the figures in each article and in each prefecture’s official guidance.
  • Bookings are usually made on the property’s official booking page by choosing an eligible plan whose name includes something like “Fukko Oen-Wari” (ふっこう応援割). Some properties exclude phone bookings or bookings made through travel agencies.
  • How the discount is claimed differs by property and prefecture. Some properties have you issue a coupon on STAYNAVI after booking, some have you enter a coupon code when booking, and some have you sign a certificate of use at check-in.
  • Some prefectures and properties exclude business-trip stays.
  • HotelME rates were checked for adults only. If traveling with children, confirm child rates and the maximum number of guests per room on the official booking page or with the property.
  • Sales can end without notice, even during the campaign period, once a prefecture’s budget or a property’s allocation runs out.
