Commenting on the award, Chief Creative Director David Miskin explained that the hotel has always been conceived not merely as a place to stay, but as a brand experience where architecture, interior spaces, services, and communication are holistically designed. He described a brand system as going beyond a logo, combining elements such as spatial flow, sound, texture, and sensory impressions to create a memorable experience. He emphasized that this international recognition marks a significant turning point in presenting new values of Japanese hospitality to the world.
