In Japan, Miyako Island is gaining attention as a wellness destination, offering experiences such as beach yoga and treatments using local herbs. Jeju Island in South Korea is also known as a spiritual power spot, with natural hot springs and traditional Korean saunas. Expedia notes that traveling in the off-season can result in accommodation price fluctuations of up to 50%. The company recommends using the Price Tracker feature and trying island hopping. Booking flights and hotels together can save travelers an average of 8%. Currently, a “Big Summer Travel Sale” is underway, offering discounts of 25% or more at select properties in destinations such as Bali and the Maldives. The campaign runs until July 21, with travel valid through October 31.
