Hotel Mikazuki Begins Paper Waste Recycling Initiative: Collaborates with Corelex Shinei to Realize a Circular Resort
Hotel Mikazuki Co., Ltd. and Corelex Shinei Co., Ltd. have jointly launched a recycling demonstration project aimed at promoting resource circulation of paper waste generated from hotels.The project is being implemented mainly at Hotel Mikazuki Fujimitei, where paper waste and used paper towels generated in guest rooms are collected, dissolved, and recycled using Corelex’s recycled paper manufacturing technology.The recycled toilet paper will be reused across Hotel Mikazuki Group properties, with the goal of establishing a system that enables the circulation of paper resources within the hotels.

Supervised by the Mystays Hotel Group and managed by Village House Management Co., Ltd., the facility offers a training program focused on the hospitality industry. As the third cohort, 19 technical interns from Nepal began their courses on February 8, 2024.
