Hotel Mikazuki Co., Ltd. and Corelex Shinei Co., Ltd. have jointly launched a recycling demonstration project aimed at promoting resource circulation of paper waste generated from hotels.The project is being implemented mainly at Hotel Mikazuki Fujimitei, where paper waste and used paper towels generated in guest rooms are collected, dissolved, and recycled using Corelex’s recycled paper manufacturing technology.The recycled toilet paper will be reused across Hotel Mikazuki Group properties, with the goal of establishing a system that enables the circulation of paper resources within the hotels.

Super Hotel Introduces “wash+ Comfort”: Promoting Sustainable Stays with a Detergent-Free Laundry System that Reduces Environmental Impact
Super Hotel Co., Ltd. has announced the introduction of “wash+ Comfort,” an eco-friendly laundry system that achieves high cleaning performance without using detergent, as part of its efforts to offer environmentally conscious lodging experiences. The system was first introduced at Super Hotel Premier Ginza in June 2025, followed by a trial operation at Super Hotel Premier Tokyo Station Yaesu Central Exit in August. Full implementation is scheduled to begin in early November. Operating 177 hotels in Japan and abroad under the concept of “Natural, Organic, Smart,” the company continues to promote sustainable initiatives that are gentle on both people and the planet.
