On August 1, a new accommodation facility called “Fantasy Forest Atami,” managed by a project team of two Tokyo-based companies and university students, opened its doors. The facility is primarily operated by students, giving them the opportunity to gain practical business skills from a managerial perspective while running the day-to-day operations. This unique initiative is designed to revitalize the local area and support the development of the younger generation, bringing new energy to the community.
OLIOLI-WORKS LLC is involved in the operation as a local support company. The project, led by two Tokyo-based companies and university students, aims to develop managerial skills through hands-on experience. As the first project of its kind in Atami, it seeks to rediscover the region’s appeal and promote revitalization by making effective use of vacant houses and underutilized properties. By having students manage the facility, the project also aims to offer pricing and services that resonate with their peers, creating a new trend of young people attracting other young people.
