BEENOS Travel Co., Ltd., a consolidated subsidiary of BEENOS Inc., which disseminates Japan’s attractions worldwide and promotes the growth of the inbound market, operates ‘旅行酒吧(Travel Bar)’, one of the largest Japanese travel media platforms in Taiwan. ‘旅行酒吧(Travel Bar)’ has started collaboration with the accommodation reservation and sales management system ‘TEMAIRAZU’ series, operated by Temairazu Inc. This partnership enables accommodation facilities in Japan to centrally manage bookings and sales management from ‘Travel Bar’ through the ‘TEMAIRAZU’ series.
According to a report by the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), the number of foreign visitors to Japan in November 2023 exceeded 2.4 million, almost the same as the same month in 2019, marking a continuous six-month period surpassing 2 million visitors, indicating a resurgence in the inbound market. Consequently, there is an increasing demand among domestic accommodation facilities to capture foreign tourists.
‘Travel Bar’ provides information and reservation services for Taiwanese tourists planning to visit Japan. The site allows users to gather information and make reservations for their trip to Japan in one go. It also accepts reservations for accommodations and restaurants. Plans are in place to enhance reservation acquisition support through top-ranking campaigns and other initiatives.
A survey conducted by ‘Travel Bar’ from January to June 2023 revealed that 95% of users plan to stay for more than five days, 64.4% have visited Japan more than six times, and 98.7% expressed intentions to repeat their stay if satisfied with their accommodation. This indicates a high interest in visiting Japan among users. BEENOS Travel aims to reduce the management workload for accommodation facilities and improve occupancy rates, including on weekdays, through this collaboration.
Regarding the ‘TEMAIRAZU’ series, it is an ASP system for centralized management of multiple reservation sites targeted at domestic accommodation facilities. By utilizing this system, inventory and pricing control, revenue enhancement, cost reduction, and profit maximization are possible.
