“Hoshino Resort 1955 Tokyo Bay” Opens June 20, 2024: Recreating Good Old America in the Maihama Shin-Urayasu Area

Hoshino Resort will open “Hoshino Resort 1955 Tokyo Bay” in the Maihama Shin-Urayasu area of Chiba Prefecture on June 20, 2024. The concept of this facility is “OLDIES GOODIES,” reflecting the worldview of America around 1955 in its interior design. This period marks a time of significant economic and cultural development, with 1955 being notably recognized as the year the world’s first Disneyland was born. Hoshino Resort aims to use this “good old” era as a motif to provide services that make theme park travel more convenient and comfortable.

“2nd Room” is a public space available 24 hours a day, both before check-in and after check-out. It features music and mid-century design interiors reminiscent of America around 1955, offering visitors a relaxed time. Designed as a space where families and friends can spend time according to their travel schedules, it aims to enhance the travel experience.

With a total of 638 rooms and 23 types to choose from, the guest rooms feature a mix of calm and bold colors, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of America circa 1955. Rooms like the “Superior with Bunk Beds” can accommodate up to four guests, ensuring a comfortable stay.

For dining, restaurants are available that cater to late-night and early-morning needs. “Cafeteria” allows guests arriving late to enjoy freshly prepared meals, while “Restaurant” offers a breakfast buffet and operates from early in the morning, ensuring guests can have a hearty breakfast. The “Food & Drink Station” allows for the purchase of snacks and beverages 24 hours a day.
